Before you pack
- Contact a local school or organization to confirm its current needs and delivery arrangements.
- Check Honduran customs, agricultural and health-import requirements. Charitable intent does not automatically exempt donated items from controls or duties.
- Bring clean, functional items; never bring expired foods or medicines or damaged medical supplies.
- Follow airline limits for liquids, batteries, sharp items and checked baggage.
- Consider purchasing heavy or restricted goods locally to support Bay Islands businesses.
This is a suggested packing list, not confirmation that specific items may be imported duty-free or without permits. Verify requirements with Honduran customs (Aduanas), ARSA when relevant, and the receiving organization before departure.
